HASC Academic Enrichment Grant
¨ HASC has provided more than $120,000.00 in grant monies to support teacher-initiated academic enrichment projects through our Mini-Grant program.
¨ The Board of Directors has funded more than $10,000 for Special Projects in the schools.
¨ We provide an annual scholarship to a Hull High School senior.
The mission of HASC is to support, monitor and promote academics in the Hull Public Schools.
What have we accomplished since our inception in 1997?
• HASC has provided more than $120,000.00 in grant monies to support teacher-initiated academic enrichment projects through our Mini-Grant program.
• The Board of Directors has funded more than $10,000 for Special Projects in the schools.
• We have sponsored forums and presentations on important educational issues.
• We provide an annual scholarship to a Hull High School senior.
• We have served on committees and on school councils.
• We have attended school committee meetings on a regular basis and have been involved in community efforts to support the Hull Public Schools.
• We have sponsored events to celebrate the academic achievement of Hull Public School students and to acknowledge the commitment and professionalism of the teachers.
• HASC raises funds through fundraising events, such as the Annual Nantasket Seaside Road Race, membership dues and occasional focused donation efforts for special projects.
