Parents as Teachers
Parents As Teachers has come to Hull! Parents as Teachers (PAT) is standardized curriculum for parent education of children birth to age 5 years. PAT offers home visits averaging 45-60 minutes 1/month and encourages attendance at other family network activities such parent/child groups & parent education workshops. Research completed on program participants in several states suggests that children who have particpated in PAT score better on standardize testing, school readiness and other indicators wellness.
