The Department utilizes a fleet of vehicles to deliver emergency and non-emergency services out of three stations. Firefighter Brian Claffey is responsible for the maintenance of the vehicles.
Apparatus Maintenance
The department utilizes a variety of sources to maintain its fleet of apparatus and automobiles. Mechanics are responsible for the coordination of apparatus maintenance and repairs. The majority of the work is handled in-house . Outside services may be used when special knowledge, warranty work, or equipment is required. These repairs are usually associated with body work, and specialized repairs on fire pumps and the aerial ladder.
The goal of the Department is to maintain both apparatus and equipment that it carries in a ready state to respond to any emergency which may occur in Hull.
