The Hull PTO has a new fund raiser called Got Books. How can you help? Please donate your old books, videos, CDs DVDs, and audio books to the Got Books container which is located at the Jacob's School receiving area on Harborview Rd. This is an ongoing fund raiser. Each time the container gets emptied, The PTO will receive a check based upon it's weight. The faculty also receives a voucher towards free books and discounts on shopping. What happens to the container of donations? Got Books sorts all donations. They have charity sales & operate a Used Book Superstore. They make donations to Books for Troops, Walter Reed Hospital, New Orleans Recovery, & Schools in Need.
As a last resort, anything unsalvageable gets recycled. This is a win/win for everyone involved. Take a look at www.gotbooks.com
