Sixth grade will focus on the Massachusetts State Science Frameworks for The Nature of Science and Technology and Earth and Space Science. The first book we will be working out of is Prentice Hall Science Explorer - The Nature of Science and Technology. Students will only have books for class use. We will begin the year defining what science is. We will then work on metric measurement. This books final chapter focuses on Technology and Engineering.
